Goodbye to Our Her Campus Seniors

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Cal Lutheran chapter.

With the end of the school year approaching quickly, we here at Her Campus at Cal Lutheran are preparing to say good bye to the seniors that have come to mean so much to us. We say good bye to six amazing, beautiful, smart, and successful ladies. These ladies have helped in so many ways to shape our Her Campus chapter into what it is today. So Kyla, Bailey, Ashley, Kira, Kaitlyn, and Keely, these messages are for you.

Seniors,

I personally want to thank all of you. You have all given this chapter such a large piece of yourself and I, along with everyone, are so happy that you have been in the Chapter for as long as you have. HCCLU will never be the same without you 6 beautiful women but I know your futures are all bright. Every single one of you brought a different personality to the Chapter and, please know, that you can never be replaced. I can only hope we have all helped you grow throughout your years at Cal Lutheran. Even if you were only in the chapter for a short time, I am glad you still ended it with the sisterhood that we are. I cannot wait to see what you accomplish in the next few years.

HCCLU will always welcome you with open arms,

Francheska Cal

Dear Seniors,

Graduation is finally here! The last 4 years of staying up too late, working too long on hard assignments, and not getting enough sleep are finally over! As you close this chapter of your life, know that you have made such a big impact on me as well as everyone else that you’ve come across the last 4 years at Cal Lutheran. Each and every one of you have been a light in my life. Your hard work, dedication, and passion in not only Her Campus but in everything that you participate in hasn’t gone unnoticed. I truly believe that you all will take the world by storm after graduation. Even though I’m sad to see you all go, I know that you will all do amazing things. Thank you all for impacting my life and creating long lasting memories with me that I’ll never forget! I already miss you all!

Love, Simone

To the most amazing seniors,

I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for everything you have done for this chapter! Thank you for being so open and welcoming and being someone that I could personally look to for guidance. I am so sad to see you all leave but I am so excited to see what you accomplish because I know you are all going to do amazing things!

With love, Sophia Placencio

Dear Ashley,

Dear Ashley,

I don’t even know where to begin. First off I’ll start with saying thank you for encouraging me to finally join Her Campus. My college experience wouldn’t have been the same without you and the club. I never felt like I really belonged at this school until I joined that club and we starting hanging out. I finally felt like I had someone that understood me that went to this school! Anyways, I’m just so happy we were able to create such fun memories and go to winter and spring formal together. I hope we never loose contact and continue to hangout because you’re a person I want in my life forever. You say it like it is always and it’s important to have friends like that in your life. We’ve sucked at hanging out lately but this summer we better have monthly if not weekly adventures considering we won’t be drowning in school work. Your dedication for school and motivation for life is inspiring and I’m lucky to call you my friend. No matter where we end up in this life know that I’ll always have a shoulder to cry on for you, a bottle of wine and sour patch kids in hand if you’re ever sad, and a heart full of love if you ever need anything at all. Continue to kill the makeup game you eye shadow Queen. Good luck in everything that you do in life I can’t wait to see what you do with your future. I love you!!!

Your Cal Lutheran little forever, Rosie R.

Kaitlyn-

I am so happy that I was able to meet and spend time with you this year! I was lucky enough to have you as an AMAZING peer advisor and of course one of my go to girls for Her Campus! You are always so helpful to everyone. You have made my first year of college a blast, whether it was the sweets you would bring to Freshmen Seminar or all the side conversations (about boys and dogs) we have during HC meetings! You always make me laugh! I will miss you next year!

Love, Morgan

Dear Kaitlyn,

Congratulations on your graduation! I am so glad I was able to have you as my peer adviser and someone I could always come to with questions or for advice. I always felt so comfortable reaching out to you for help. I really appreciate everything you did for me as a freshman, and even as a sophomore. I will miss seeing you around campus. I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you do after graduating! Best of luck!!

Keely,

Where do I begin? In the short time that we have known each other, I have gotten so close to you and feel so lucky to be able to call you a dear friend. I love every minute that I get to spend with you, spilling the tea, going to dinners, and just overall having an amazing time where I feel comfortable enough to be my goofy self. I will forever cherish all of the laughs that we have had together, and I know that we will continue to have more. You are going to do so well in life because you have such an amazingly positive attitude and you are so driven. Continue to slay like you do every day. I’m going to miss you so much. I love you!

Love, Alexia

Bailey,

I didn’t get to know you that while we were in Her Campus together and we definitely should have. However, we’re in a group chat together and I always appreciated the sarcastic and funny commentary that you added to the group. You are incredibly sweet, kind, smart, and beautiful, and I know you are going to take the world by storm. Thank you for being a part of Her Campus.

Love, Alexia

Kaitlyn,

You have the best energy that always lifted my spirits and put me in such a good mood. You always put a positive spin on every situation and made Her Campus a welcoming place. Thanks for being so involved and for making the event planning team a huge success. you’re going to kill out their in the world and I hope you come back to see all of us Her Campus gals. Good luck!

Love, Alexia

Kira,

Words cannot even begin to describe how much I am going to miss you. You were always the bright spot at every Her Campus meeting and bonding. One of the first memories I have with you was when we went to Knott’s Berry Farm and I loved the time that we got to spend together get to know one another. You’re always there for me when I need you and you’re understanding no matter what. You are so hard working and successful, and I cannot wait to see what you accomplish as a teacher. I know you’re going to do great. I love you and I’ll miss you.

Love, Alexia

Ashley,

You quickly became my mentor at the start of this year and we have become such good friends because of it. I have come to look up to you so much, not just in school, but in life as well. Thank you for teaching me how to take over as Social Media Director, even though i will never be able to fill your shoes. I am going to miss our lunches and our chats so much, because they were one of the only things that kept me sane at school. You are going to do so well out there because you are so ambitious. I can’t wait to see all of the good you are going to bring to the world. I love you so much and I hope we never lose the bond that we have.

Love, Alexia

Kyla,

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for encouraging me to join the writing team. It’s because of you that I have found not only my passion in life, but what it is I want to do when I graduate. You have been an indredible director and an even better friend. You are so kind, caring, and understanding. You’re also totally hilarious and I love laughing with you. You shaped the writing team into the success that it is today and Her Campus cannot give you a big enough thank you for that. We are going to miss you so much, but I hope you come back for bondings and to check out the team. We would love to have you back. I’m going to miss you so much, but I’ll make sure we stay in touch. Good luck at law school, you’re going to do so amazing. I love you!

Love, Alexia
