My mother used to tell me all of these home remedies and tricks that her mother in Pakistan would tell her, I never believed that any of them worked, especially coconut oil. My mother swore by coconut oil before the craze started. As a child, my mother would massage my head with the greasy, smelly cocounut oil and leave my hair in a braid. I can’t believe I’m admitting this but I’d even go out in public with it because my mother said, ” If you want long, beautiful hair, you have to keep this in your hair for a long time.” Naturally, the girly girl inside me was picturing Pantene perfect hair that you see in the ads so there I went outside with a hair that looked wet and never dried.

Of course, now, there are so many variations of coconut products. The one I used was straight up oil that you would use for anything else, not the organic one that you can leave in your hair and you don’t notice it. I discovered this new brand called, Haconut, that makes amazing products for your body & hair! This is my body and hair care routine for those who are interested.

Megan and Daniel, twenty something siblings, created the natural and healthy line that was inspired from their home, Hawaii.  Their original product, Coconut Body Scrub, has redefined body scrub and coconut oil. Now, without the grease and mess, you can use this scrub that leaves your skin as soft as a baby’s bottom and it smells like the tropical islands that we all dream of. If you can’t go to the tropics, you bring it to you with Haconut.

I tried the Cocoa scrub with coconut and I was thrilled! I smelled like chocolate AND coconut! I even made my sister try it and she’s not one to experiment with these things. She loved it so much, I left the Cocoa one for her at home and kept the original!

I treated myself to a relaxing bath before I went back to school( Yes, with tea and macarons!) and the Haconut Hydrating Mask. My newly dyed ends were crying from happiness and definitely got that boost of coconut and shine back. For those who have damaged hair, this is great!

All of these can be found on https://haconut.com for a very reasonable price! Be quick and grab these before everyone starts using them!! You won’t be disappointed.
