Getting Out of Town

In my last article, I mentioned local day trips to help de-stress. This article is about those longer trips out of state that Bloomsburg University has to offer. If you’re looking to get out of town for the day and have some fun, this article is here to help you!

  1. New York City-this one is a given. I mean who wouldn’t want to spend a day in NYC and surrounding areas. The university offers trips to the big apple with the option of seeing a show while you’re there, but if you’re not interest you have hours of free time to spend as you wish! Take some time to check out Central Park! The university does offers trips to the big apple throughout the semester. So, if you are still looking for a getaway next semester, check them out!
  2. New York City… again I know, but you can’t possibly see it all in one day so head back to the concrete jungle where dreams are made of on February 9th. Now that the holiday rush to NYC is over, feel free to check out the museums, central park, the shopping centers, and the large variety of food options the city has to offer!
  3. New York, yet again, but the only thing I’ll say is you can’t possibly be bored on the 3rd trip. Take the time to revisit your favorite things and then discover new ones! If you are looking to go further while here, look into to taking the ferry over to New Jersey.
  4. You guessed it, one last New York trip. I have no persuasion here...

  5. Calling all Philly fans. If a Flyers game is in your best interest attend the bus trip to Philadelphia to see a hockey game against the Rangers.

  6. For a different, more historical scene change, join the bus trip on March 2nd to go to Washington D.C. there is so much here to experience!
