Campus Cutie: Cody Jinnette

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Auburn chapter.

Major? Chemistry

Age? 21

Relationship Status? Single

What are you involved in on campus? I’m a member of AED and I work in the organic chemistry lab.

What is your ideal woman like? The first thing I look for is a sense of humor. If we can’t make each other laugh then it’s not going to work out. Other than that, I’m a sucker for a girl with a cute smile.

What is your ideal date? Dinner somewhere is always nice, but I think the best dates involve doing something together. For me, going mini-golfing and grabbing a milkshake afterwards would be a wonderful date.

What can a girl do to get your attention? Any kind of lame pun, joke, or pickup line will always get my attention, the cheesier the better. But stopping and saying hey can also work too.

Biggest turn off/turn on? My biggest turn off is being rude to my friends, or just to people in general. My biggest turn on is someone who is genuine and nice.

Celebrity Crush? Emma Stone, hands down.

What is one thing that people don’t know about you? My favorite color is green even though I’m red-green colorblind.

What are your post-graduate plans? After I graduate at Auburn, I’m going to medical school. After that, I plan on specializing in pediatrics or family care.

What would you consider your best attribute? I would say my best feature is my sense of humor. I love to make people laugh and brighten up their day.

What has been the most fun part of your time at Auburn? Nothing can really compare to this past football season. But besides that, I’d have to say that going skiing for spring break this past year was a blast.

How would you describe the Auburn women of today? Auburn has the most beautiful girls in the country, hands down.

Describe your worst date ever: I’d have to say the time I asked a girl to dinner and she texted me right before and asked if it was a group thing and her friends could come. That was a little discouraging to say the least.

Tell us about the most meaningful experience of your life: Studying abroad in Austria last summer. It’s eye-opening to be in another culture for a while, and you learn a lot about the world and yourself. Plus, it was the best time of my life and some of my best stories and memories come from my time over there.
