With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, you may feel isolated and lonely without being with your friends in person. Luckily, thanks to Zoom, we can still connect and have fun with our friends and family. Here are four bestie dates that you and your friends can have online!

At Home Brunch – Virtually

Though it may seem cheesy and not the same, you can all connect through Zoom and make your own favorite brunch treats. If you’re feeling fancy, you could even try to make the same recipe together, from start to finish. Even though it’s not the same eating waffles and avocado toast with your friends in person, cooking together can be a fun way to spend time together.

Baking Wars – Virtually

One of my favorite shows to watch is Food Network’s Cupcake Wars, so why not bring it to life? You could try making cupcakes from scratch or even from a box. Dress your cupcakes up as much as you want. Then, present your masterpieces.

Not sure who won? Take it to Instagram story polls and let your friends decide who won. This can be a super fun way to get creative and silly with your friends while being a part of a pandemic.

Face Masks and Chill

With the stress of being in school and in a pandemic, you should set aside some time for yourself. Grab a face mask and put on your favorite show or movie to watch with friends. Extensions like Teleparty allow you and your friends to stream content together in real-time and offer a chatbox feature.

If you want to take a step further, you can FaceTime or Zoom while watching. Teleparty allows you to stream from Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu, and HBO. You’re sure to find a movie or show that’s perfect for everyone.

Dress Your Best – Virtual Photoshoot Edition

Valentine’s Day is a day of full cute outfits, and even if you’re not going out, that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be seen. With the CLOS Virtual Photoshoot app, you can become your bestie’s photographer and take cute pictures of them remotely while on the phone directing and guiding their poses. Use small props around your house, make silly poses, and make it fun and authentic!

Hopefully these date ideas have given you some inspiration for things to do with friends so you feel a little less lonely in these challenging and trying times. Have fun and be safe!
