Protestors Took to Downtown Sacramento Following the Release of Stephon Clark’s Autopsy
On Friday evening, protestors took to the streets of downtown Sacramento after an independent autopsy by Dr. Bennet Omalu revealed that Stephon Clark, an unarmed black man who was killed by police in his own backyard several weeks ago, was shot at least seven times in his back, the Huffington Post reports.
Protestors marched throughout downtown Sacramento throughout most of the weekend, and despite the fact that the marches were largely peaceful and no arrests were made, a 61-year-old woman was struck by a police vehicle as it drove through protestors. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident and has yet to confirm whether it is being classified as a hit and run.

Trump Tweets “No More DACA Deal”
In yet another tweetstorm on Sunday, President Trump vowed that he would no longer be willing to negotiate with Democrats to find common ground on DACA, also threatening to back out of NAFTA, an agreement that eliminates trade barriers between Mexico, Canada and the U.S. “Border Patrol Agents are not allowed to properly do their job at the Border because of ridiculous liberal (Democrat) laws like Catch & Release,” Trump tweeted. “Getting more dangerous. ‘Caravans’ coming. Republicans must go to Nuclear Option to pass tough laws NOW. NO MORE DACA DEAL!”
It is unclear whether Trump’s tweet signals an actual policy change, or whether it was in response to a ‘Fox and Friends’ segment that aired minutes before, which addressed the “caravans” Trump referenced in his tweet. According to the New York Times, Trump reportedly refused to answer questions from reporters Sunday morning regarding whether he has changed his stance on DACA and immigration.

Apple Releases “Battery Health” iPhone Feature
After admitting back in December that it slows down older iPhones to prevent battery shutdowns, Apple is making good on its promise to be more transparent about the practice. As such, the company has released a new feature, called “Battery Health,” as part of iOS 11.3 that allows users to turn off their phones’ slowdown features. Additionally, “Battery Health” will let you see if your phone supports “peak performance capability.” (A.k.a, whether or not your battery needs to be replaced.)
It’s important to note, though, that even if you do turn off the slowdown feature as a result of an old battery, your phone may be more prone to unexpectedly shutting down as a result of being overloaded by particularly demanding apps and tasks, so do so at your own risk!
