18 Smoothie Bowls That Will Brighten Your Morning

In case you haven’t heard, smoothie bowls are the latest trend in breakfast. Waffles, omelettes and pancakes are out, and beautiful gourmet smoothie bowls are in. Your Instagram feed has likely been flooded with Sunday morning smoothie bowls, topped with fresh fruit and chia seeds. Why not try your hand at this delicious breakfast and take your brunch game to a whole new level? There are so many different types of smoothie bowls that you can make, and they’re all packed with tons of fruits and veggies. Dig in!

1. Superfood Breakfast Bowl

Spirulina is the queen of all superfoods. Put it in your smoothie, your salad or your yogurt—throw a spirulina party!

2. Peach Pie Smoothie

We’d eat this bowl if only for the bright colors. How can you be sad when your breakfast is so happy?

3. Strawberry Chia Smoothie Bowl

This looks like a healthy alternative to the chocolate covered strawberry. We do a pretty good job of pretending that chocolate covered strawberries are healthy, but this bowl makes it so we don’t have to fake it anymore.

4. Green Machine Smoothie

Have trouble getting your recommended daily serving of veggies? This smoothie bowl is packed with greens and should do the trick.

5. Blueberry Quinoa Bowl

Quinoa with breakfast is always a surprise but never a disappointment. If you want to up your superfood content, sprinkle with chia seeds!

6. Hello Honeydew Bowl

We’ve never really seen melons in smoothies, but we’re into it. Honeydew is quite the superior melon (second only to watermelon and obviously miles ahead of canteloupe), so why not try mixing it in your next breakfast bowl?

7. Man-Go Make This Bowl

Get tropical with this mango smoothie bowl! Top it with pineapple and maybe even get wild by adding a little papaya.

8. Salted Caramel Bowl

This bowl supposedly tastes like salted caramel, even though there’s banana in it. We’ve never been adventurous enough to try dessert for breakfast, but this bowl kind of makes us want to.

9. The Girlboss Smoothie Bowl

OMG. We just met the new, official smoothie bowl of Her Campus. Did you know there’s avocado in here, too? It’s undercover.

10. Dark Cherry Smoothie Bowl

This bowl might be an aphrodisiac because these colors are ~*romantic*~

11. Apple Pie Smoothie Bowl

Apple pie is as American as baseball. And, believe it or not, this apple pie smoothie bowl is as delicious as actual apple pie.

12. Acai Smoothie Bowl

Honestly, you can’t go anywhere without hearing about acai. Even though it sounds exotic, it’s super easy to transform into a delicious smoothie bowl. Bonus: it’s a superfood!

13. Matcha Green Tea Bowl

Matcha is our favorite thing ever—you could say we’re a match-a made in heaven. For the perfect coffee-free caffeine kick, add some matcha to your smoothie bowl!

14. Raspberry Antioxidant Bowls

How happy is this bowl? Sprinkle with coconut shreds, goji berries and pumpkin seeds for that extra crunch!

15. Five Ingredient Banana Split Bowl

The sundae you can enjoy on more than just Sunday. Sorry, was that too corny? We’ll just split.

16. White Smoothie Bowl with Autumn Fruit

We’re tempted to make this bowl because we know that it will: A) taste amazing and B) bump up our Instagram aesthetic by 100 percent.

17. Carrot Cake Smoothie Bowl

This smoothie bowl has some ingredients that we would never think to mix together! Carrots and romaine lettuce? Maybe in a salad but definitely not in the blender. As Tim Gunn would say, “Make it work!”

18. Beet, Raspberry and Vanilla Bowl

This bowl features bee pollen and sea buckthorn berries, which honestly sound like ingredients that a fairy would use in a love potion. Wait—maybe this bowl is actually a love potion. Guess you’ll have to try it and see.

What’s your favorite smoothie bowl? Tell us which ones you can’t wait to try!
