Did someone say free money (Or was that a figment of our imagination in college budget mode?)? Nobody likes thinking about student loans after graduation, which is why Alicia Keys and BlackBerry have joined forces to offer outstanding collegiettes generous scholarships through their BlackBerry Scholars Program. As a way to encourage women to pursue careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), the program is giving away full, four-year university scholarships to the best candidates. This effort to increase the female demographic within STEM is a wonderful opportunity you need act on now — the application deadline is June 26 at 5 p.m., so apply soon!
