Honestly, who doesn’t love Jennifer Lawrence? The Academy gave her Silver Linings Playbook performance the sacred stamp of approval while the masses cannot get enough of Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen. Though her film credits are beyond amazing, we’re impressed by her “hold nothing back” personality. As unlikely as it may seem, we’re very convinced that the Oscar winner could easily be our new BFF. Agree? Disagree? Check out our reasons and decide for yourself.
1. She loves to eat.
Best friends who pig out together, stay together. If the Hunger Games star was your partner in crime, she wouldn’t judge you if you have an extra slice of pizza. Instead, she’d probably be right there with you.
2. She’s clearly seen Mean Girls as much as we have.
Anyone who can make a Mean Girls reference in the middle of an acceptance speech is definitely BFF-worthy.
3. She’s a voice of reason.
In addititon to sharing tons of laughs and memories, you should be able to have serious conversations with your other half. With such a realistic outlook on life, we can only imagine that Lawrence would be a great person to go to for advice.
4. She isn’t afraid to make fun of herself.
Caring what other people think is so high school. Instead, the cool thing is being able to make fun of yourself (to extent, that is). We think that if Lawrence was our best friend, she would force us to live in the moment and not sweat the small stuff.
5. As her best friend, we could borrow all her clothes.
Because that’s what friends are for, right?
6. She also has unrealistic celebrity crushes.
Just because Lawrence is an A-Lister doesn’t mean she’s too cool for silly celebrity crushes. As our best friend, Lawrence would embrace our love for Joseph Gordon Levitt (or maybe that’s just me…). In return, we’d fully support her infactuation with Prince Harry. After all, it’s about time for another Royal wedding.
7. She tells it like it is.
We can assure you that the Silver Linings Playbook star doesn’t sugar coat anything. If she’s so candid about scoring freebies, just imagine how honest she is to her bestie. With America’s sweetheart, deciding where to go for dinner or choosing a dress for your formal would be a breeze!
