POSITION: Social media/influencer marketing Intern ($15/hour)

START DATE: Late August/early September

DURATION: Fall/winter for a minimum of 3 months, with option to extend

HOURS: Minimum 16 hours a week (Tues/Weds/Thurs preferred)

LOCATION: Los Angeles, Mid-City (The Grove)

Those questions still guide our decisions on everything. Innovation and disruption are in our DNA and our marketing plans must deliver this.


We’re looking for an intern who’s just as excited about skincare (and pop culture!) as we are, and eager to learn everything about Bliss – after all, we just relaunched the entire brand – new products, new prices, new everything! Needless to say, it’s an exciting time to join the team!


Under the direction of the Marketing and Social Media team, the intern will focus on a variety of projects general and specific to the interest of marketing. He/she can expect to take away valuable experience in social media marketing, influencer marketing and content strategy.


The role will be pivotal in demonstrating the value of putting the customer at the heart of the organization as the business continues to grow.


The Social Media/Influencer Marketing Intern will be responsible with assisting the team with day-to-day tasks across PR, social media, influencer marketing, ecommerce, creative and more. This position will enable the candidate the ability to work within many different marketing functions to help grow their skillset and determine where their talents can be best utilized.


Social Media:

  • Create weekly social performance reports using social/influencer tools.

  • Help the team with community management – responding to questions, escalating concerns, fulfilling giveaways and so on.


PR & Influencer Marketing:

  • Manage the brands’ micro-influencer program – oversee monthly deliveries from start to finish.

  • Assist with influencer and editor communications, mailings and outreach (i.e. send outs, tracking, research, invoicing).

  • Use Tribe to log daily influencer activity on Instagram stories.

  • Oversee at least one creative mailing or collateral piece from start to finish.

  • Trend monitor for the team to keep them abreast on any influencer/editor brand collaborations, events, partnerships, news, etc.



  • Support the team with general administrative functions: packing, mailing, ordering product, coordinating schedules and meetings, invoices/billing.

  • Help the team as needed in brainstorming ideas for events, mailings, pitches, etc.



  • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.

  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop (Illustrator a plus).

  • Prior experience working in an office environment.

  • Ability to work independently while taking direction from others.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • High level of attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

  • Creative and intuitive thinker with the ability to execute and problem solve.

  • Must be prepared to get involved in all aspects of the business with a "hands-on" approach.

  • Relevant background in marketing, communications, PR, social media or business administration.

  • Passionate about beauty/skincare trends and pop culture.

  • Bonus points for candidates who have an eye for design or an art background.
