An Alcohol Giveaway that Also Helps the Environment? Yep – the New Coors Seltzer Has Arrived

You wake up with a rando in your bed, smeared eyeliner on your face practically begging for a makeup wipe, your head feels like it’s full of cement, and there’s a video of you doing a keg stand on someone’s Snapchat story that captures all of the wrong angles. Yup, we’ve all had regretful mornings like these. But, with the brand new Coors Seltzers, you’ll feel a little less guilty knowing that all that drinking was doing something good, at least for our planet! Oh, and there’s a chance you can get these drinks for free. You see? The Sunday morning nightmare is totally worth it now.

The brand new beverage is now up for grabs nationwide and is available in four delectable flavors: Black Cherry, Mango, Grapefruit and Lemon Lime. Coors Seltzer comes in a variety pack of twelve 12oz slim cans, because all of them definitely deserve the spotlight. Each can contains 90 calories, is certified gluten free and contains 4.5% alcohol by volume. Literally, what more could you ask for? And we haven’t even gotten to the best part yet.

To celebrate it’s debut, Coors is giving away 175,000 12-packs of their hard seltzer nationwide. All you have to do (as long as you’re a resident of an eligible state) is join the Coors Seltzer Volunteer Program, and you’ll be able to redeem a rebate to cover some or all of the cost of your first pack, depending on your state. By giving consumers an opportunity to volunteer for the rivers, Coors Seltzer is introducing a world where “volunteering” becomes a code-word for drinking seltzer. When drinkers buy Coors Seltzer, they help restore 500 gallons of water into America’s rivers, which contributes to their overall commitment of restoring at least one billion gallons by the end of 2021 through a partnership with Change the Course. Drinking to help the planet is the kind of good we need in 2020. It’s that simple.

The free seltzer giveaway runs all the way through December, leaving you plenty of time to snag some free drinks for the pregame. But of course, they had to one up the game with yet another amazing perk. Coors Seltzer is encouraging their 21+ fans to do even more good by entering the Coors Seltzer Volunteer Social Sweepstakes, where drinkers have the chance to win free Coors Seltzer for a year (in the form of $500), along with a $1,000 donation that will be made to one of Coors Seltzer’s river conservation partners based on the winner’s choice.

See the official rules here, then do good things, drink good things, and get free things, baby.

We have to stan Coors Seltzer. If you need me, I’ll be on my way to the store getting ready to stock up.
