This is What Adele Listens to When She’s Going Through a Breakup

Adele is our go-to gal whenever anything emotional happens in our lives, but especially when there’s boy drama. She’s carried women through cheating, players and any sort of bad situation you could imagine. Now the queen of breakup songs herself just shared her favorite breakup tracks.

“I mope around for a little while,” says Adele when People asked of her post-breakup routine. “I do embrace the fact that I’m heartbroken. I don’t move on quickly. I don’t know if that’s because it seems that I’m only really creative when I’m a bit momentarily depressed.”

Check out Adele’s top breakup favorites below:

1. “I Can’t Make You Love Me,” by Bonnie Raitt (which Adele has covered herself)

2. “After the Storm,” by Mumford and Sons

3. “Cosmic Love,” by Florence + The Machine

4. “This Year’s Love,” by David Gray

5. “Not Like the Movies,” by Katy Perry

6. “All I Could Do Was Cry,” by Etta James
