The third season of HBO’s Insecure is right around the corner and it, of course, involves the ups and downs of adulthood—more specifically, the ups and downs of your 30s—and it’s going to be a wild ride.
The trailer starts off with our favorite ladies and an important motto: “Single, 30, thriving.” Yes, girls, think positive! It then moves to Issa, who is living with Daniel because of her lack of funds and she’s trying to keep it casual, but we all know that will *probably* be a disaster. The chemistry is obvious in the trailer alone, so it’s only a matter of time before she decides to fall back into her old ways with him. Considering she’s living with the *other* man, Lawrence is nowhere to be seen. Is he ever going to make an appearance? I guess we will have to find out, but he is M.I.A. in the trailer.
Issa’s living arrangements are the main focus of the sneak peek, but there are a couple other pieces that we will probably see more of throughout the season. For example, Tiffany is pregnant, Molly is dealing with Dro drama (as expected), and Kelly is honestly just killin’ it. I can only hope to be Kelly when I’m 30.
To make a long story short, there’s a lot to unpack this season and thankfully we don’t have to wait much longer. Insecure returns to HBO on August 12, and I know it’s going to be so much fun to watch.
