If you’re still mourning the loss of Harry Potter weekends on Freeform and couldn’t manage to score a coveted ticket to Harry Potter’s Broadway debut, I have some good news for you!
The Barge Ladies cruise company has designed a Harry Potter themed cruise that will set sail down London’s River Thames beginning this August. And with two sessions, August 5-11 and August 19-25, you have two chances to catch the magic.
As Entertainment Weekly points out, with this cruise you get more than just a relaxing vacation — you also get access to some important sites from the Harry Potter films. The cruise will visit Picket Post Close, which served as the filming location for 4 Privet Drive, and Christ Church College at Oxford, which was a model for Hogwarts’ Great Hall. There will also be a visit to Warner Bros. Studios to take part in the Harry Potter tour.
Speaking about developing the project, Barge Ladies founder Stephanie Sak said, “The itinerary is my baby and it has been a professional highlight to see it come to fruition.”
But, before you apparate to London, it should be noted that this once in a lifetime experience comes with a hefty price tag of $4,190 per person. But really, who can put a price on seeing Harry Potter history?
