Kylie Jenner has decided to go au natural.
After posting two photos to Instagram of her and friend Anastasia Karanikolaou, in which her lips looked noticeably smaller than usual, her fans noticed immediately that something was different. Confirmation came after a fan commented on the Kylie Cosmetics businesswoman’s photo saying, “She looks like the old Kylie here. I don’t know why,” to which Kylie replied, “I got rid of all my filler.” While the youngest Kar-Jenner may be known for her signature lips, she still looks flawless as ever touting her natural smile.
Kylie’s lips have been the subject of media attention and scrutiny since she was 16. She originally admitted to having lip fillers done back in 2015, after being accused of having work done. On an episode of her Keeping Up with the Kardashians spinoff series, Life of Kylie, the new mother further discussed her lips and the insecurities which led her to enhance them.
But Kylie definitely turned her insecurity into a superpower, creating lip kits which became highly popular. According to TIME, in its first 18 months alone, Kylie Cosmetics racked up a whopping $420 million in sales. And with over 16.5 million followers on Instagram, it seems unlikely anything could mess up the popularity of her beauty line. We’re eager to see whether Kylie’s newfound pride in boasting a more natural look will translate over to Kylie Cosmetics.
