Riverdale is on a summer hiatus, and while the time between now and its season three premiere on October 10 has never felt longer, the cast is clearly here to provide us all with some world-class entertainment in the meantime. #Blessed.
While Cole Sprouse and KJ Apa’s regular roasts of one another on social media are well-documented, KJ’s most recent just may very well be his best. In an Instagram on Monday, KJ posted a meme comparing what he and his Riverdale costar Cole Sprouse looked like at 17 — and let’s just say the difference is *truly* something.
“Man… I would have absolutely crushed you at age 17. Crushed,” he captioned the photo, tagging Cole.
Of course, because it’s Cole, it didn’t take long for him to come up with an equally hilarious response. “You wouldn’t have even survived the weight of my wallet bitch.” I mean, he’s not wrong.
From there, things basically went wild, with the rest of the Riverdale cast including Lili Reinhart and Madelaine Petsch joining in. (Oh and also Lorde, so like, NBD.)
Basically, Lorde’s “Wow I’m dead” comment sums up exactly how we feel about the whole thing. I’m not saying I want to be adopted into this beautiful Riverdale cast friendship, but I’m also not *not* saying it, ya know?
