Congratulations to Hilary Duff and partner Matthew Koma, who are now the proud parents of a precious baby girl!
The Younger actress shared the news of her little bundle of joy with her followers on Monday evening, revealing that she gave birth to her daughter on Thursday, October 25th, Hello Giggles reports.
Duff wrote that she delivered Banks Violet Bair at home, and that “this little bit…is absolute magic.”
Koma, a musician, also made a sweet announcement on Instagram, sharing the same photo.
“We welcome a beautiful daughter, little sister, and best friend for life,” he wrote. “Could not possibly be more grateful for our growing family and for the [peach] who makes it all possible. Cloud ten.”
Duff also has a 6½-year-old son with ex-husband and former NHL player Mike Comrie, The Huffington Post reports.
The happy new parents announced that Duff was expecting back in June, and the actress has been very honest and open about her pregnancy journey.
“The boobs are big the belly is big the body is big,” she wrote on Instagram in July. “Man.. pregnancy is hard. Giving love to all mamas who make it look effortless… this journey is hard as hell and also incredibly special. […] sick of getting up 9 times a night to pee and looking at this weird body in the mirror that is not my own at the moment.”
