The Olympics have been on everyone’s minds these past few weeks. For young athletes who have been training their entire lives for this moment, the experience must be absolutely surreal.
17-year-old Team USA snowboarder Chloe Kim got to pay this feeling forward when Jimmy Fallon invited her to photobomb fans in front of an NBC Olympics display at 30 Rockefeller Center in New York City. Hilarity ensued.
Of course, Fallon decided to twin with the gold medalist by putting on a long blond wig and stocking cap to match her signature look. I also loved the “double hoagie” maneuver.
It was a perfect opportunity for Kim. Olympic athletes are thrust into the spotlight, often at young ages, and suddenly expected to be America’s heroes, and it can be hard to figure out the right ways to interact with fans all of a sudden.
Chloe Kim is ADORABLE and is doing an amazing job. Her performance on the slopes was excellent, and she deserves all the recognition she’s getting. Teenage girls can do some pretty badass stuff, and we need to be seeing that right now. You rock, Chloe!
