Ariana Grande Shut Down an Accusation That She’s “Milking” Mac Miller’s Death

As the retweets and favorites continued to rise on a tweet that accused Ariana Grande of “milkin” her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller’s death, the singer decided to respond in the nicest way possible.

“i pray you never have to deal with anything like this ever and i’m sending you peace and love,” Ariana wrote in response to the tweet, which initially referenced a tribute to Mac that she shared on Thanksgiving.

Another posted “Ariana let it go… Mourn it behind closed doors. Stop milkin’ it when you wasn’t even there when he was at his lowest right before it happened.”

Ariana tweeted about the hate again, saying, “some of the shit i read on here makes me sick to my stomach. it scares me the way some people think and i don’t like this world a lot of the time. if only we could be more compassionate and gentle with one another. that’d be sick.”

Fans and other celebrities alike quickly came to Ariana’s defense, including Halsey. She not only went off on the poster of the viral tweet, but she also wrote a heartfelt message for Ariana: “ari the world could only dream of being as compassionate and gentle as you. and since ur being, as always, so classy and nice, allow me the honor of telling them to shut the fuck up.”

Before signing off for the night, Ariana sent a final tweet that said “everything i feel is valid and safe. everything i do is genuine and honest. there is no right or wrong during this period.”

And she’s absolutely right! Trolls, please take Halsey’s advice and STFU.
