On December 1, everyone finally gets on the same page and the Christmas season officially begins, which means it’s time to start watching your fave Christmas flicks. When there are so many options, it can be v tricky to decide what to watch—not to mention finding a time to watch movies in between finals week, shopping and all of the other festivities that go along with the season. Don’t panic, though. If you watch one of these movies each day, you’ll make your way through the essential Christmas movie catalogue. December 1: Snowglobe (2007)

So uhh, where can I get a magical snowglobe and a cute new BF?

December 2: The Holiday (2006)

A touching love story perfect for cuffing season…or to remind you how terribly single you are.

December 3: Unaccompanied Minors (2006)

A very underrated Christmas movie but honestly, such a funny flick. 

December 4: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964)

You’ve got to squeeze those childhood favorites in there, and this one’s a classic. 

December 5: Miracle on 34th Street (1947)

Another movie trying to decide the age old question: Is this Santa the real deal, or is he some insane old man? 

December 6: Four Christmases (2008)

Shout-out to the children of divorce. 

December 7: The Year Without a Santa Claus (1974)

To make you appreciate the good things, like Santa Claus coming to town. 

December 8: Office Christmas Party (2016)

To give you hope that a 9-to-5 might actually be fun one day. 

December 9: Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966)

Drink every time you here the word “who.” See how that works out for you. 

December 10: Christmas with the Kranks (2004)

Linus’s dissertation on the true meaning of Christmas is the epitome of real, freaking Christmas spirit. 

December 21: The Santa Clause (1994)

Just a little reminder of what it’s like to believe in Santa. Also, I would kill to be friends with Bernard. 

December 22: Home Alone (1990)

A real work of art. Macaulay Culkin shines like the true star that he is with adorable quips and killer facial expressions. 

December 23: Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992)

Always game for a second round of Kevin McCallister. 

December 24: The Polar Express (2004)

*immediately craves hot chocolate*

December 25: A Christmas Story 

A flashback to a simpler Christmas, when kids wanted Red Ryder BB Guns instead of iPhones. Since it plays for 24 hours on TBS Christmas day, you can’t miss it.
