Yes, It’s Hot As Fuck — But Pumpkin Spice Lattes Are Back So Let’s Drink Up

PSA to all of my fellow fall-obsessives: Pumpkin Spice Lattes have returned and my entire life has been made. Yes, it’s hot as fuck out. Yes, I was sweating on my way to Starbucks. But did I get my beloved Pumpkin Spice Latte? Did I take the drive-through so no one had to see me in my freshly-rolled-out-of-bed-state? Did I spend $7 to make sure I got it with Starbucks almond milk so I didn’t shit my pants? Damn right I did, and I have no regrets.

While most things about 2018 have been literally the stuff of my nightmares (you know what I’m talking about, you guys), the highlight of my 2018 so far has been not just that PSLs are back, but that they came earlier than ever. As of August 28th, PSLs have returned to the menu of the coffee shop we like, pretend we aren’t obsessed with, but totally are. I’m not going to tell you about how many calories it has (because who gives a fuck) or what it tastes like (because if you don’t know, please get off of this page and go get one RIGHT THE FUCK NOW), but I am going to share my excitement, and the excitement of the internet, with you on this glorious day.

The internet was a PSL party.

And it was nice to have something good trending on Twitter for once?

1. Some, like us, were PUMPED.

2. Like, seriously pumped.

3. BRING ON FALL.

4. Us proud basics had a grand ol’ time gramming our PSLs.

And, per usual, Starbucks keeps us drooling with their news-worthy new drinks.

So, what else is Starbucks bringing our way this fall?

1. The dreamy Salted Caramel Mocha Frappuccino

LBR: Frappuccino’s are a lifestyle, even if it makes the person who works at Starbucks kind of hate us.

2. The ~chic~ Salted Caramel Mocha

Literally can’t go wrong with endless caramel.

3. And, of course, the Pumpkin Spice Latte, Iced

Because it’s just as amazing (and even more season-appropriate) when you keep it cool.

This year has been rough in literally so many ways and if I want an overpriced, super sweet and spicy delight of a drink, I’m going to freaking do it.
