This Man Used Netflix to Propose to His Girlfriend & TBH It’s the Ultimate Relationship Goals

You may think you and your S.O. love Netflix. You may have even binge-watched both seasons of Stranger Things in one weekend all while basically not leaving the couch for 48 hours straight. (Not that I know from personal experience or anything.) But chances are, you probably don’t love Netflix as much as this couple, who just used it to get engaged.

Let me explain: Conor, who, like many other people in relationships, spends a lot of time watching Netflix with his girlfriend Kamela, wanted to find a way to incorporate the streaming platform into his proposal to ask Kamela to marry him. So, he contacted Netflix (you know, as one does), and asked them to help.

Here’s how he pulled it off: Netflix told Kamela that she and Conor were being filmed for a reality series about couples’ binge-watching habits. Little did she know, when she went to watch her fave show, The Santa Clarita Diet, Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant had actually filmed a special video just for the proposal. Suddenly, in the video, Conor appears to say he has a question for Kamela — and this is where she finally gets the idea that something’s up.

Finally, IRL Conor turns to Kamela to adorably say, “It’s been awesome being your boyfriend, but if you’re cool with it, I’d rather be your husband.” From there, well, let’s just say there are a whole lot of happy tears, so you’re probably just going to want to watch it all go down for yourself in the video above.

BRB, I’ll just be over here ugly-crying to a total stranger’s marriage proposal if you need me.
