Indecent Exposure Charges Dropped Against Arizona Football Player Who Exposed Himself in Yearbook Photo

According to NBC News, a high school teenager who exposed himself in a yearbook photo with the school’s football team will no longer face charges. Hunter Osborn, 19, was arrested on Saturday and originally charged with 69 counts of misdemeanor indecent exposure, with the counts being totaled from the number of “victims” who posed in the picture. He was further charged with a felony of furnishing harmful items to minors.

The news came from the Maricopa County Attorney News Release, in which the county attorney announced they would not proceed with the felony charge, believing “the evidence does not establish a violation of the statute.”

People.com reports that the Osborn was dared to expose himself by another teammate. Support for him has poured in, even in a Change.org petition, which has called for other school administrators to take responsibility for publishing the photo in the yearbook, instead of making Osborn a “scapegoat.”
