H&R Block Breaks Down the Top 10 Worst College Majors

H&R Block recently published an infographic that shows the correlation between college majors and post-grad employment rates.

According to the data, the most in-demand college majors are those like business, engineering and computer and information sciences. It comes as no surprise that the top 10 “worst” majors (based on unemployment rates) are those in the social sciences and creative fields, such as film, music and graphic design.

However, the top industries for recent college grads may not be what you’d expect. Based on year-over-year growth, the three big industries are advertising, computer software and accounting and finance. The chart revealed some positive career news as well for future graduates, stating that average starting salary for the Class of 2013 increased 2.6 percent from the Class of 2012.

Where does your major rank? Check out the chart below and find out!
