What are your thoughts on wearing heels to class? I have a few pairs of heels that I LOVE and would gladly wear to class (I’m fine with walking in them – that’s not an issue), but my friends say I’m way too dressed up to go to class. What do you think? I’m not talking about five inch platform shoes — is the occasional three inch wedge or pump here or there okay?
100% YES it is okay to wear heels to class! Like you said you aren’t wearing 5 inch platforms, but just a nice pair of pumps or wedges is perfectly okay. It is also all in how you dress up the heels, you don’t want to look like you are going out when you are simply going to class (i.e don’t wear a sparkly dress or super short skirt!). So keep you dress simple and casual…try wearing a pair of skinny jeans and simple white t-shirt with a pair of heels. I love this look, it is casual but put together, absolutely perfect to wear to class and then meet some friends for coffee or lunch after. As long as you feel confident in what you are wearing don’t worry if your friends say you are too dressed up!
