Why Bethenny Frankel Is An Inspiration To Collegiettes

Chances are you’ve heard of her, and if you have ever watched her reality show Bethenny Ever After on Bravo, chances are you love her. Bethenny Frankel is a shrewd businesswoman, loving mother, and devoted wife, and the kind of girl you want to share a bottle of wine with. If you’re looking to conquer the world after you graduate, Bethenny is a great inspiration and role model and here are three reasons why!

She’s honest. Bethenny is known for her sarcastic wit and open demeanor, and it’s one of the biggest reasons why her fans love her. She’s an open book, letting in the world on her triumphs and her struggles. While watching her reality show you get swept up in the tense moments and sweet ones, and you can’t help but fall in love with little Bryn!

She’s ambitious. You can’t say the girl doesn’t work! Bethenny attended college at the Natural Gourmet Culinary Institute, has written four books (with the fifth to be released in May), was a contestant in The Apprentice: Martha Stewart and went on to become one of the original five housewives of The Real Housewives of New York City. Not to mention founding a little business called Skinnygirl Cocktails, which has now grown to include wine, beauty products, and shapewear.

She’s real. Bethenny is a complicated lady- but her fans wouldn’t have it any other way. Instead of painting her one-dimensionally, we see all sides of Bethenny. That includes when she’s cracking jokes as the star of the room or when she’s yelling at her husband for not picking up after himself. She’s only ever herself, which in a world of Hollywood smoke and mirrors, is quite a relief.
