Following the long-awaited release of Adele’s “Hello” this past fall, many singers, bands and now ensembles have created their own covers of the famous hit. Some are even going as far as to mash up the single with other songs.
Last week, The Piano Guys did just that—a mashup of “Hello” and Mozart’s “Lacrimosa”—and the end results are pretty amazing. Their video already has over three million views on Youtube. That’s pretty impressive, right? We think so, too.
You might expect that it would be difficult to seamlessly combine those pieces to create one beautiful number. With what we can only imagine must have taken much practice, the ensemble was seamlessly able to blend the 21st century pop hit with the 16th century composition piece.
