Baby, let the games begin. Taylor Swift blessed fans with an epic gift on December 13th, (which also happened to be her birthday — happy birthday, Taylor!) announcing that she is bringing her Reputation Stadium Tour to Netflix. The 29-year-old pop star shared the trailer for her Netflix documentary Thursday, and it’ll be here so soon.
Swift much of the past year taking her Reputation Stadium Tour all across the globe, and even though her tour just recently wrapped up, she sure knows how to treat her Swifties to the best holiday present ever. She filmed an entire concert for a Netflix documentary, and gave us a minute-long preview of the upcoming special, which will be available on New Year’s Eve, according to Hello Giggles. I mean, could there really be a better way to close out 2018?
The preview begins with flashes of Swift performing, according to Cosmopolitan. “When she fell, she fell apart,” a voice over says. “When she rose, she rose slowly. She heard echoes of new words. Without your past, you could never have arrived.”
We already have goosebumps.
The pop star took to social media to announce the news, writing, “Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes! Today I finally get to show you something we’ve been working on for a while… the trailer for the Reputation Stadium Tour.”
The Netflix special will feature the Reputation Stadium tour in its entirety, and there’s sure to be some fun behind-the-scenes parts, too.
“You made this tour so insanely fun for all of us on stage, and I’m really excited that we will have this memento of the memories we all made together this year,” Swift told her Swifties. The pop star added that she loved sharing the stage with Camila Cabello, Charli XCX, her band and dancers, all of whom she says “shine so brightly in this film.”
“You’re the best. Thank you for everything,” Swift concluded.
