Seventeen Magazine Takes Action to Stop Cyberbullying

Celebrities and fashion bloggers are coming together to show their support for Seventeen Magazine’s Delete Digital Drama campaign! ABC Family has paired with the magazine for the campaign and they are premiering a new original movie titled, “Cyberbully” on July 17, 2013 at 8/7 central time.

The Delete Digital Drama campaign encourages and empowers young women across the globe to eliminate cyberbullying in their lives. Seventeen Magazine encourages that young women delete hurtful comments that they see about themselves or someone else online. You can show your support for the campaign by adding the [delete] badge to your profile picture and posting it on your Facebook and Twitter for your friends and followers to see! Get your badge for your picture here.

Stars like Kendall and Kylie Jenner are standing up for the cause by speaking up and wearing trademarked pink shirts that say “[delete]” in big black lettering. You can purchase the shirt for yourself in stores at Charlotte Russe and JC Penny. Well-known designer, Nanette Lepore, created the shirt design. All of the proceeds from the shirts go directly to STOMP Out Bullying, an anti-bullying organization that is sponsored by FOX Sports.

Disney star Bridgit Mendler and TeenNick star Ariana Grande are also taking part in the campaign to end cyber bullying. Seventeen Magazine even had a unique pink OPI color made for the campaign called, “#17delete.”
