Selena Gomez recently shot down rumors that she was romantically linked with Cara Delevingne, who is openly bisexual. But she certainly wasn’t mad about the rumors.
In fact, she says she didn’t mind them one bit.
“Honestly, I loved it,” Selena told PrideSource.com. “I didn’t mind it. Especially because they weren’t talking about other people in my life for once, which was wonderful.”
She then went on to reveal that in the past she has questioned her sexuality many times, and revealed that it’s a normal part of growing up.
“Oh, I think everybody does, no matter who they are,” she elaborated. “I do, yeah, of course. Absolutely. I think it’s healthy to gain a perspective on who you are deep down, question yourself and challenge yourself; it’s important to do that.”
With the promotion of her third studio album Revival, which came out on October 9, we’ve been seeing a lot of her lately and, given how great of a role model she is to all women, that’s a great thing. She recently revealed, very honestly, how public body-shaming affected her. She has also shared information about her illness with lupus, showing that she doesn’t let anything slow her down.
