Robert Pattinson Isn't Totally Opposed To The Idea Of A 'Twilight' Reboot

Reboots are trending and have revitalized our fave throwback shows (think: Gilmore Girls) but the ‘Twilight’ phenomenon is relatively new. It’s nearly been a decade since the first installment was released in theaters but Twihards are still alive and kicking. Despite the lapse in time, the resident vampire on the block, Robert Pattinson, aka Edward Cullen, is reportedly onboard for a potential ‘Twilight’ reboot.

In a recent interview with Yahoo! Movies, Pattinson teased the possibility of a ‘Twilight’ reunion.

“I’m always kind of curious,” Pattinson said. “Anything where there’s a mass audience—or seemingly an audience for it—I always like the idea of subverting people’s expectations. There could be some radical way of doing it, which could be quite fun. It’s always difficult when there’s no source material.”

If there were to be a reboot in the works, the team would have to get support from author Stephenie Meyer to continue the story beyond the series of novels. Tbh, we’d be satisfied with just watching the romantic highlights.

While he hasn’t confirmed nor denied whether he would reprise his starring role if the reboot became a reality, it would be amazing to see him on the silver screen again.

In the meantime, I’ll have to catch him in his upcoming role in the period drama, “The Lost City of Z,” in order to curb my anticipation.
