Just when we thought Frozen fever was finally behind us (yes, it did take nearly two years for us to get the songs out of our heads), we’re being sucked right back in by a brand new cover of the smash hit Disney tune “Let It Go” by Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale and country band Rascal Flatts. Check it out:
There have been countless covers of this song, originally performed by the incomparable Idina Menzel, but this new country version offers a fresh take. It premiered earlier this week on RyanSeacrest.com, and is being released as part of the new We Love Disney album, which drops on October 30 and features tracks from other Top 40 artists like Ariana Grande, Fall Out Boy, Jason DeRulo and Gwen Stefani.
Though nothing will really ever compare to the original, we love the cheerful, uplifting vibes this country-twanged cover of the song offers. We just hope this version won’t be stuck in our head for the foreseeable future…
