After rumors began swirling earlier this week that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson are engaged after only a few weeks of dating, neither of them has gone out of their way to say it isn’t true — and considering Ariana liked multiple fan tweets congratulating her and has noticeably been rocking a major piece of bling on *that* finger, all signs pretty much point to yes. That being said, neither Ariana or Pete has actually confirmed anything either — but Pete’s most recent Instagram photo might be as official of a confirmation as we’re ever going to get.
Friday evening, Pete took to Instagram to share another sweet shot of the couple, except this time, there is very much a ring and a caption that seems to indicate that yes, the two are in fact engaged.
“u know what you’d dream it be like ? it’s better than that,” the Saturday Night Live star captioned the photo, and if this isn’t a confirmation that they’re engaged and living their best lives, I’m not sure what is. (Unless he’s just talking about how amazing Ariana’s Gucci boots are, in which case, fair enough.)
As Cosmo notes, Ariana was clearly feeling those just-engaged vibes too commenting “so much better” on the photo, to which Pete responded with a goofy drooling emoji.
Their engagement may have been a whirlwind, but don’t expect them to rush into tying the knot super soon — multiple sources have said they’re “looking forward to a long engagement,” which TBH, is probably a smart move.
