Pete and Hillary have met multiple times on the SNL stage, and the politician clearly left a strong impression. Davidson showed off his fresh ink to Instagram on Friday, an image that honors a young Clinton in all her pant-suited glory. He wrote, “Wanted to get @hillaryclinton a Christmas gift so I got a tattoo of my hero. Thanks for being such a badass and one of the strongest people in the universe.” Now that’s some serious support.
Davidson’s forever gesture did not go unnoticed by the woman in the portrait herself. The former presidential candidate left a graciously humorous comment: “Thanks, @petedavidson. This makes it significantly less awkward that I’ve had a Pete Davidson tattoo for years. But seriously, I’m honored. Merry Christmas my friend.”
