Everyone loves a playful Twitter feud, and the one that just went down between current Bachelor Nick Viall and Season 20’s Olivia Caridi did not disappoint. Caps lock, emojis and GIFs went flying after Nick did something on Monday’s episode of The Bachelor that just didn’t sit well with Olivia. Because isn’t this show all about love?! *grabs popcorn*
During the episode, contestant Vanessa Grimaldi confessed her love to Nick, which was met with a less-than-pleasant reaction. Nick told Vanessa, “I really, really like you, but it is incredibly important for me, if I’m lucky enough to feel love or say ‘I love you’ in this role, that I only say it to one person.” *cringes* As you can guess, Olivia was not impressed. Last season’s villain was quick to call out Nick and his seemingly repeat behavior.

Talking to Us Weekly, Olivia elaborated. “I’m having a hard time getting behind it. Because if you’re here for love—and I tweeted this, and he didn’t love it, sorry—but if you’re here for love, you’re hearing ‘I love you,’ and your face is like this [makes a pained face], why are you here?” Preach!
As Olivia mentioned, Nick didn’t appreciate the criticism.
