Here’s some news to brighten up your otherwise boring Monday: Mindy Kaling is reportedly expecting her first child, and yes, we’re totally serious.
E! News reports that multiple sources have confirmed that The Mindy Project actress is pregnant, saying that it was an “unexpected surprise” – and if you ask us, it’s a very welcome unexpected surprise.
While insiders told E! that her pregnancy won’t affect any of her upcoming projects, we unfortunately don’t know too many other details as of yet. (Other than the fact that, obviously, she’s going to be an even more badass mom IRL than she is in The Mindy Project.)
Mindy herself still has yet to confirm the news, but naturally, the Internet is already just as over the moon as we are:
