Nick Viall Is Going to Be on Another ABC Show, But This Time He's Acting

Apparently ABC is not ready to cut ties with Nick Viall quite yet. Just when viewers thought they'd seen the last of the former Bachelor, he will return to TV screens as a guest star on the ABC comedy series Speechless.

As Deadline reports, Nick is set to make an appearance during the show's upcoming second season. He will play the role of Tyson, a B-list actor who befriends JJ, the show's main character played by Micah Fowler. Alongside Minnie Driver and John Ross Bowie, who play JJ's parents, Nick's character must deliver an exceptional performance to keep JJ out of trouble.

Speechless is a sitcom that follows Driver's character, Maya DiMeo, and her family through their struggles in everyday life. Maya is an incredibly protective mother and wife to her husband, Jimmy DiMeo, and their three children, Ray, Dylan and JJ, her eldest son with cerebral palsy.

The world best knows Nick for his many failed attempts at happily ever after on two seasons of The Bachelorette, the third season of Bachelor in Paradise, and his most recent run on the 21st season of The Bachelor. He later traded roses for ballrooms as he competed on ABC's Dancing With the Stars, where he and professional dancer Peta Murgatroyd were eliminated halfway through the competition.

While reality television and competitive dancing didn't pan out in Nick's favor, maybe a career in acting is the next step for this unlucky romantic.

His episode of Speechless is scheduled to air in late November.
