Move Over TanaCon, Shane Dawson’s Next Project Will Dive Into Jake Paul’s Mind

The Mind of Jake Paul, coming to a… computer, iPhone, or tablet screen near you. YouTube personality Shane Dawson released a teaser for the upcoming documentary series on Tuesday, and it looks as though it’s going to be just as good — if not better — than the series he did on the disaster that was TanaCon.

According to Billboard, the series “aims to provide a window into [Shane’s] fellow Youtuber’s life from an outsider’s point of view.”

The trailer opens with a compilation of Paul’s infamous stunts and pranks, which fades before Shane says “This is gonna be a nightmare.” The most interesting part comes toward the end, when Shane implies that he didn’t really tell Jake the entire truth about the project. Someone off-camera asks Shane what he’s most worried about, to which he quietly replies, “That he’s gonna be mad when he finds out what this series is actually about.”

Leading up to Tuesday’s reveal, Shane had been dropping hints about the series on Twitter. On Sept. 3, which he said was his final night of filming for the series, Shane tweeted that he’s “never felt more drained, emotional, confused, excited, angry, yet creatively fulfilled” in his life. “I literally feel like my brain’s gonna burst,” he added.

Shane even said he has around 100 hours of footage. I, for one, am excited to watch as much as that as possible.

The eight-part (!) series will begin airing Sept. 25.
