If you had any doubts about Miley and Liam’s relationship (how could you after their chemistry in The Last Song?), fear no more. Miley recently addressed the engagement on Ellen.
When Ellen brought up a photo with the engagement ring that’s been getting a lot of attention, she straight up asked Miley if she was currently wearing the ring, to which she said yes.
“I actually—this is really weird because this is like real jewelry and most of my jewelry is made out of gummy bears and cotton candy, and they don’t look that good together ’cause they kind of mix up,” Miley said. “So sometimes I like replace it with an actual unicorn or a Looney Tune. And he’s kind of like what’s going on? ‘Well,’ I am like, ‘This isn’t really my aesthetic, but I’ll wear it because you love me.’”
There you have it—Miley and Liam didn’t break up; engagement rings simply aren’t her style. Ellen joked that he could’ve saved a lot of money by buying her “a gummy bear ring or something.” (Miley, we’ll take the ring if you don’t want it…)
