Leslie Jones Couldn’t Find a Designer to Dress Her For the ‘Ghostbusters’ Premiere

Ghostbusters is easily one of the most highly-anticipated movies this summer, and with good reason. Some of Hollywood’s most entertaining ladies are starring in the movie, including SNL‘s Leslie Jones. Even though Leslie might be relatively new to the big screen, we’re certain that she’ll have us laughing throughout the film. Given the abundant amount of promotions and the star-studded cast, it’s likely that Leslie will be jumping from city to city to discuss and promote the movie. Before Ghostbusters hits theaters on July 15, the cast will attend a red carpet premiere. Considering that the upcoming premiere will be a massive event for Leslie, most people assumed that she already has her entire red carpet look assembled and ready to go. However, the actress took to Twitter to reveal that no designer wanted create a dress for her, simply because of her body type.

Taking to Twitter, Leslie posted a tweet in regards to her situation:

Clearly (and understandably so), Leslie wasn’t satisfied with the fact that designers rejected her for her non-conventional body type. It seemed like she had already accepted this, until one designer reached out. Because emojis are all the rage right now, Christian Siriano responded to Leslie’s tweet with two emojis that indicated he’d have no problem dressing the star for her big night.

And Leslie’s response to Christian was basically all of us:

Considering that Christian has an amazing eye for detail and has designed stunning dresses in the past, we can’t wait to see the masterpiece he creates for Leslie!
