On Tuesday, Leighton Meester’s hair went from Blair Waldorf brunette to Serena Van Der Woodsen blonde. She went completely platinum, and even chopped a few inches off!
“I don’t even feel comfortable saying that I just went blonde. It is a totally different color of hair!” Meester said to People. “But I love it!”
Aura Friedman led the process (which apparently took seven hours!) at Nexxus New York Hair Salon.
“I like to try different things and experiment,” Meester said. “So when I wanted to change my hair, I just thought, “I should just completely go for it!'” And after scrolling through Pinterest and Instagram for inspiration, she did!
Props to her for having the courage to make such a bold move. It definitely paid off.
