For one Sacramento teen, this past weekend will be hard to forget. Saturday night, Rio Americano High School senior Albert Choa attended his prom with none other than Kylie Jenner.
Kylie discovered through social media that Albert was turned down by the girl he asked to be his date, and she decided to step in. Choa’s sister filmed portions of the event, posting snippets on Twitter.

While it’s not uncommon for high school seniors to reach out to celebrities for prom dates, their plans often don’t work out. The 19-year-old reality star and beauty mogul was completely game for a night of fancy dresses and slow dancing, though.
For Kylie, this was the first prom she’s attended since she was homeschooled for most of her high school years. In a 2014 Google+ chat, she even expressed interest in attending prom. “I plan on making one of my friends take me to prom. I feel like I need to go to one. I want to go to one of them.” Jenner’s best friend, model Jordyn Woods, came too because why not?
It’s pretty great that Jenner got to fulfill a dream of hers while also making this student’s prom memorable. It never feels good to be rejected, especially for an event like prom, but it’s clear that Kylie made Choa’s prom unforgettable.
No matter how you feel about Kylie, it’s hard to ignore how cool her weekend plans were.
