Kanye West Just Released New Music

Kanye West shocked us all—including his wife Kim Kardashian—when he announced his intention to run for president in 2020 at this year’s MTV VMAs, and it turns out he wasn’t done with the surprises.

Yesterday Kanye decided to release not one but two new songs on his official SoundCloud page. The two songs are actually not original songs, but both new versions of songs already released. The first, “Say You Will” is a new version of Kanye’s own song from his 2008 release 808s & Heartbreak, which features vocals from Pulitzer Prize winner Caroline Shaw. The second is a rework of a song that Kanye originally produced—The Weeknd’s “Tell Your Friends.”

It’s unclear whether or not these two songs will be on Kanye’s newest album. Kanye’s been keeping hush about Swish, his new album; as of now, he hasn’t revealed a release date or track list.
