JoJo Fletcher Reached Out to Lauren Bushnell After She Broke Up With Bachelor Ben Higgins

Sometimes the greatest love stories of Bachelor Nation are the friendships that contestants form while living together in the infamous mansion. While she may not have been besties with JoJo Fletcher when both women vied for Bachelor Ben Higgins’ love on TV, Lauren Bushnell revealed that JoJo reached out to her when Lauren and fiancé Ben broke up last month, Us Weekly reports.

“[She] and I talked before and I shared that we were having struggles,” Bushnell shared with Us Weekly. “She texted me the day that the news or whatever broke just to check in, which I thought was really nice. We talked a little bit.”

Seeing as Lauren and JoJo were Ben’s final two contestants (and he said “I love you” to both of them!), it’s definitely admirable for former Bachelorette JoJo to look after Lauren post-breakup. Although JoJo is still with her Bachelorette pick Jordan Rodgers, the two girls talking proves that sometimes you just need your girlfriends to deal with difficult moments.

According to Us Weekly, Lauren is ready for some time on her own before finding love again.  “I’m just taking the mindset that I’m going to take it day by day,” she said. “If something happens, great. If not, then that is how it’s supposed to be. I’m just trying to focus on myself and my blog, focus on my projects and friendships and family. If something comes from that, great. I’ll be so happy.”

We’re cheering on Lauren during this new stage, and we hope she and JoJo will continue supporting each other along the way!
