Brand new celeb couple, Selena Gomez and Abel Tesfaye (aka The Weeknd), sparked curiosity among fans when the “Come and Get It” singer was tagged in an Instagram pic cradling a newborn baby next to her beau.
According to Refinery29, fans can rest assured that the baby isn’t theirs but the newborn daughter of Tony Sal, good friend and manager of The Weeknd.
The Weeknd captioned his sweet photo “Uncle Abel,” but it’s the post manager Sal himself took to Instagram to share—a collage of all his loved ones, including Selena, who came to visit his family after the birth of his daughter—that seems to suggest a whole new level of closeness between the two pop stars.
While the pair are fresh and no one can really predict what is to come of their relationship, there’s no denying that this ish is kind of a big deal. Meeting his manager’s newborn baby? Homegirl never did that with the Biebs, that’s for sure.
