First Zayn leaves, then Niall pulls at our heartstrings with his new song and now Harry Styles is making his acting debut. Though we may have hoped he’d do so in something sexy like Magic Mike, Harry is taking on a more historical role in Dunkirk. Side note: his short hair looks hot af.
Styles appears in the trailer three times, and he looks like a total natural. One part shows what appears to be Harry drowning, which of course caused his fans to take to Twitter. According to Huffington Post, Directioners are dominating the Twittersphere to express their love and concerns about the possible death of his character. AKA if you search #Dunkirk, you’ll see more about Styles’ small role in the trailer than the actual movie.
Dunkirk is a World War II movie from Christopher Nolan, the genius behind the Batman Begins trilogy and Inception. Impressive first movie for Harry? That’s a definite yes.
Sadly, we have to wait until summer to watch him in theaters. You just know Directioners will be the first ones in line. But hey, we don’t blame them!
