This is The Girl You Love to Hate (& She Thrives On That Fact)

Living an exclusive, expensive lifestyle is something most college women can hardly even imagine. But for 23-year-old Julia Stakhiva, a Ukraine native and student in London, living the life of the rich and the famous is all she’s known. She recently chatted with the UK publication, Daily Mail, to tell them all about her extravagant life. You may want to sit down for this one.

Stakhiva prides herself on dressing lavishly and looking beautiful at all times, saying that, “In my circles, I know that wealthy people aren’t jealous of shoes and handbags—they are jealous of other people’s looks. That’s why it’s important for me to look beautiful, be skinny and have nice hair.” The pursuit of beauty is one she says her parents are very supportive of. She’s also fully aware that people are jealous of her wealth, but she doesn’t let anyone or anything stand in the way of living her life. “I love all my haters. I would rather die than have people not talk about me,” she claims. “People criticizing me shows that I’m an extraordinary person.”

But it doesn’t end there.

This blonde bombshell has been getting lip injections since the mere age of 18, received her first Louis Vuitton at the age of nine, and spends £200,000 per year adding to her extensive designer wardrobe, which is estimated to total a whopping cost of £1.5 million (about $1,703,955). And the best part? It’s all funded by her parents. Oy.

But her education and money are going toward something useful, right? Well, the future is still unclear for Stakhiva. She explains that her life goals are to become successful, but she’s not exactly fit for an office role because of her elaborate and luxurious lifestyle. She adds that, “My friends and family see me as leader so I don’t think I could be employed by anyone after university.”

Whether or not she’d make the best leader is up for debate, though, as some of her advice is a little controversial. “I believe everyone should start cosmetic surgery at a young age. It’s better to save up your money for beauty treatments instead of spending it on food,” she says in the interview. “Some people are not brave enough to have surgery. They think it’s better to sit at home, eat pizza and judge me. But I just think well, you eat pizza and I look pretty.”

Ally Meyerowitz is a junior at San Diego State University. She is currently trying to pursue a degree in Journalism with an Italian language minor. She is a Jersey girl born and raised, and she will always be a Jersey girl at heart. When she's not scrolling endlessly through her Instagram and Facebook feeds, you can usually find her watching movies, hanging out with friends or eating chocolate. After college, she hopes to become an entertainment editor at a major publication in New York City.
