I’m always looking for a new movie to fall in love with, and if it involves Anna Kendrick, I’m automatically in. Add Lisa Kudrow, June Squibb, Craig Robinson and a plot about a wedding, and just try to drag me away. In my time of need, Table 19 has come along to give us all that and more.
Out March 3, Table 19 centers around ex-maid of honor Eloise (Kendrick), who has been dumped via text by the best man and sequestered at the “randoms” table at a wedding reception. Table 19 is reserved exclusively for guests who should’ve known to send their regrets—along with a tasteful gift from the registry, of course. The group of misfits soon bond, resulting in friendships, secret-sharing and of course, romance. It is a wedding movie, after all.
