“Surprise, bitch! I bet you thought you’d seen the last of me” applies to both Emma Roberts in American Horror Story: Coven and the tumblr GIF that wouldn’t die. True to her word, Emma has surprised us again, confirming in an Instagram post that she will appear on American Horror Story: Cult. The photo, originally posted by show creator Ryan Murphy, features a sly-looking Roberts wielding a large butcher knife (totally casual).
Although there are no details yet about Emma’s character or how long she’ll be on the show, fans are excited to reunite with one of their favorite TV deviants.

American Horror Story: Cult will feature other Scream Queens favorite Billie Lourd, who played Chanel #3, as well as AHS veterans Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters. Inspired by the 2016 presidential election, Murphy has revealed to E! Online that fans can expect the first 10 minutes to go something like this: It “takes place in a very eerie macabre way on election night and there’s something terrible that happens in the lives of our characters on election night as they’re watching it all go down. Which in itself was a horror story, so it’s like a horror story upon a horror story.”
