If you’re one of the lucky ones with tickets to an Adele concert, leave the phone at home. During a recent show, Adele called one of her fans out—in front of the entire audience—for filming a portion of her concert.

“Yeah, I want to tell that lady as well, can you stop filming me with a video camera because I’m really here in real life,” she said. “You can enjoy it in real life, rather than through your camera.”

Adele urged the fan to live in the present. “Can you take your tripod down? This isn’t a DVD, this is a real show,” she continued. “I’d really like you to enjoy my show because there’s lots of people outside that couldn’t come in.”

Though we’re going to guess that plenty of others in the audience were catching photos and videos throughout the night, Adele’s plea was met with plenty of support as concertgoers cheered. Catch the whole incident in the video below—we’re going to guess this fan put their camera away shortly after Adele called on her viewers to enjoy the moment.
